Large cruise ships dock at the MPCT terminal (Môle Léon Gourret) about 8 km north of the city in an industrial port zone — not walkable. A free shuttle drops you near the Joliette district, a short walk or metro hop from the Vieux-Port.

Uber and Bolt both operate in Marseille and are often cheaper than taxis. Request pickup just outside the port gates as in-terminal app pickups may be restricted.
Bus lines 35 and 36 depart from Gate 4 and run to the Joliette area near the city center. The 35T tourist bus continues to the Old Port for around €5.
