Enter Juliet's courtyard for free (timed entry in peak season), touch the bronze statue, and view the wall of love letters. Romeo's House is a short walk away — private, but the gothic facade is atmospheric.

Arena to Ponte Pietra Loop

Start at Piazza Bra and the Roman Arena, walk up Via Mazzini to Piazza delle Erbe, duck into Piazza dei Signori, find Juliet's House on Via Cappello, then continue to Ponte Pietra for the best river view in Verona. Cross to the north bank and climb to Castel San Pietro for the panoramic rooftop shot, then funicular or stairs back down.
From Piazza Bra head west along the Adige riverbank to Castelvecchio and cross the medieval Ponte Scaligero. Excellent for photos of the castle and the fortified bridge, especially in morning light.
