The marina/cruise dock is right on the waterfront promenade (Avenida da República), just steps from the historic Pombaline town center. Nearly everything of interest is within a 10-minute walk.
Local taxis are available at the marina. The city center is 1–2 km away; expect a €4–€6 fare with a €3.30 base charge plus €0.50/km. Night/weekend rates are ~20% higher.
