Longyearbyen town center is compact and very walkable from the pier. Most attractions, shops, and restaurants are within 10–15 minutes on foot.
Svalbard Buss (svalbardbuss.no) runs a scheduled shuttle between the airport and town that stops at the harbor. Convenient and affordable for reaching the town center.
