Getting Ashore

Most ships dock right downtown at Prostneset, the central quay, steps from the main street. Larger vessels use Breivika, about 3 km north, with shuttles into the center.

Getting around townThe compact center is flat and walkable. For the Arctic Cathedral and Fjellheisen across the bridge, take a local bus, taxi, or walk the scenic Tromsø Bridge.
